A vibrant warm golden sky perched above rust/brown fields and a bit of grey mountain, dotted with dark, almost black trees.
Very warm tones.

Professionally framed in a substantial dark walnut frame with a black wash, innermost frame in gold leaf.

This is a very large piece, with framed dimensions of 45”w x 33”h x 2.5”d. Substantial frame of 5.25” width.

Kathleen Dunphy is a highly respected and decorated plein air painter based in Northern California whose work is represented in galleries in Jackson Hole, Bar Harbor and Charleston, SC among others. In 2000, American Artist Magazine recognized her as one of it’s Top Ten Emerging Artists and in 2012, she was invited to join the 35 members of the prestigious Plein Air Painters of America.
