Handsome and impressive hand-made wire sphere by listed California artist (American b. 1961) Scott Donadio. The artist created this wire sculpture by using 330 feet of 16 gauge annealed steel and the sphere sits on a limestone base with a total height of 21”. With the diameter being 16”.
Donadio is well known for creating sculptures in stone, wood and metal, this wire sphere is his only creation in this material and style back in 1991. Clearly, this sculpture would look great on a cocktail table or pedestal of its own. Plus, it can go indoors or out.
