1960s Opaline glass geometric pendant lamp attributed to Mauri Almari.
Executed in glossy opaline glass and brass with black cloth cord and custom fabricated period style brass canopy for mounting over a standard American j-box. Highly reminiscent of Paavo Tynell's iconic designs for Taito Oy. An incredibly refined design that is quintessentially Finnish.

A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the inspired work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by discerning collectors of fine lighting. Metal pendant measures 10.5 inches in height x 5 inches in diameter at the widest point with 60 inches of black cloth cord that can be cut to desired height.
Professionally rewired for US electrical. Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W equivalent LED bulb medium base (E26) bulb. Bulb not included. Includes a 5" brass canopy that accommodates a standard US j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
