The mirror’s crest features a finely detailed putti, symbolizing triumph and love, surrounded by scrolling acanthus leaves and floral garlands.
Set into the sides of the frame are two exquisite Sevres porcelain plaques, each hand-painted with romantic pastoral scenes typical of the Sevres tradition. The delicate colors and refined brushwork contrast beautifully with the warm tones of the gilded wood.
