Pair of 19th Century Italian Fruitwood Chest of Drawers
A Pair of Early 19th Century Italian Fruitwood Chest of Drawers with Marble Tops.
A striking pair of chests veneered to create a geometric repeating striped pattern on the front and both sides. These commodes have something of a contemporary feel to them despite being early 19th century in date. They have white and grey veined marble tops. Standing on tapering toupee feet. There are simple escutcheon plates in the drawers which allow the key to be used to open them. Each chest has one narrow drawer and two wider ones below. The sides are panelled.
