Functional … Read more Combining elegance and simplicity, this ke03 cabinet from pastoe's oak series is a textbook example of cees braakman's vision. Functional design, soft in line, well thought out in every detail. This vintage wardrobe, manufactured in the 1950s, showcases crisp lines in warm oak. The right side offers a spacious hanging space with a wooden hat rack above it; on the left are four generous storage compartments. A single wooden batten is attached to the inside of the door - ideal for hanging garments, ties or accessories neatly. On the outside lurks a surprising detail: an extendable wooden rod to temporarily hang out your outfit. The cabinet closes with an original key and rests on characteristic cone-shaped legs - typical of this beloved pastoe series. Fully restored, disassembled and in excellent condition: a timeless piece of furniture that both aesthetically and practically finds its place in any interior.
