Both the sculptures and the steles are in undamaged condition. The busts depict two male heads, with hairstyles that could indicate the Bauhaus period. This period is also confirmed by a photo album, presumably belonging to the artist of the busts, which was acquired with the two busts.

The photo album features several original photos from 1925 to 1928 from the studio of the art academy, with several references to the sculptor Georg Kolbe and the location of the master student's studio. The original owner of the album titled one of the photos "Probezeit bei Prof. Georg Kolbe." Georg Kolbe was one of the most important and successful German sculptors of the early 20th century.

This suggests that the creator of these busts was a master student of Georg Kolbe.

The brown/gray granite steles measure 16 x 16 cm.

The heads are approximately 30 cm high and 25 cm wide. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
