Many … Read more In this listing you will find an exceptionally rare Mid Century Modern table lamp designer by iGuzzini, model "Baobab". Many call this lamp the Guzzini Mushroom, due to it's shape. The body of the lamp is made on metal, while the dome-shaped shade is made on acrylic. Ehat make this lamp so hard to come by is not only the fact is way made in a small series, but also its colour. While the white ones could be found on the market from time to time, this particular one comes in gold sand or light honey colour. Made in Italy in the 1970s. The lamp is in very good vintage condition with some signs of time and use. It requires two E27 lightbulbs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
