A pair of mid-century danish design icons: the alfa wall light and its companion, the beta table lamp, both from fog & mørup, exemplify the clean lines, thoughtful functionality, and understated elegance that defined 1960s scandinavian design.
the alfa wall light, first appeared in the 1966 fog & mørup catalogue, several years after the original 1963 release. This pair of lamps on offer are early versions of model.
its compact form and angle-adjustable 11 cm shade make it a perfect reading light, projecting 24–28 cm from the wall depending on the angle. Whether over a bedside table or a home office desk, it combines form and function beautifully.
design highlights:
