Crafted with richly figured mahogany veneers and crowned with an impressively heavy Carrara marble top, this piece combines refined neoclassical detail with a strong, architectural presence. The façade is embellished with gilt-bronze mounts including ribbon-tied swags, rosettes, and corner appliqués. Four cabinet doors display dramatic bookmatched veneer patterns framed in bronze, opening to generous interior shelving. Three upper drawers, originally felt-lined, provide additional storage. The whole is raised on tapered, fluted legs capped with brass sabots, giving the sideboard an elegant balance. On the back, trade labels from Aurora Izegem, Belgium and Le Tintoret, Marseille, attest to its European provenance. A commanding and versatile piece that serves equally well as a dining room buffet, a living room console, or an entry statement, bringing both utility and timeless French elegance.
