An exceptional wall plaque composite marble roundel or tondo in the manner of Enrico Braga (1841–1919), celebrated for his refined neoclassical sculpture and allegorical compositions. The round marble relief portrays three tender children playing dress-up, one veiled and another crowned with vines, in a scene of lyrical innocence and charm.
Encased in a lavishly ornamented giltwood frame with rich Rococo-style detail, this work embodies the 19th-century fascination with classical grace and technical mastery.
