This is a Jean Pouyat Limoges Chocolate Pot. I believe it is hand painted and the left side is much more decorated than the right. The Jean Pouyat backstamp is dated 1890 to 1902. The chocolate pot is white with pink and purple flowers trimmed in gold. The handles are painted gold as are the rims. The spout has some lovely shaping in the porcelain and it comes with the matching lid. There is no gold wear on this piece.
The chocolate pot measures 4.50 inches wide and it is 8.75 inches tall to the rim and 10.00 inches tall to the top fo the handle.
The right side has a single yellow flower that is much paler and not trimmed in gold. The pot is marked as shown and has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The inside is clear and stain free.
