This vintage 6x8 Dhurrie is an exciting new entry in Rug & Kilim's esteemed flat weave collection. Handwoven in cotton, it originates from India circa 1950-1960.

This flat weave carries elaborate primitivist human and fish pictorials in beige and gold on the most vibrant red background. Keen eyes may further observe elephant representations on the border in similar colorways, and appreciate this cultured, rare piece and its maximalist tribal feel.
