The painting is displayed in a lovely sage green frame accented with gold leaf highlights. The painting measures 28" x 40".

In the early1980's, Maitland-Smith commissioned very fine artists to create their Animal Collection of accent paintings. While this new line was very well received, the company discontinued the art offerings many years ago. This could be one of the last surviving Owl paintings.
