This is an Antique La Pierre Sterling Silver Tall Compote or Candy Dish #36A made circa 1910-20. It has a wonderful rim that resembles cabochons and is approximately 5.8 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. Total weight 195 grams, weighted base.
La Pierre Mfg Co was founded by Frank H. La Pierre in 1888 in Newark, NJ and incorporated in 1895. The business was bought in 1929 by International Silver Company
