The Benlloch workshop, founded by Manuel Benlloch in the early 20th century, became known for reinterpreting Hispano-Moresque and Mudéjar revival motifs with a distinctly modern sensibility.

The lamp base is formed from a tall hexagonal vase finished in an ivory crackle glaze characteristic of Manises wares. Over this ground, a bold geometric pattern unfolds in cobalt blue, iron-oxide orange, and cream, each of the six panels framed by cobalt ribs and filled with ogee arches, lattice lozenges, and scrolling arabesques. The underside bears the hand-painted signature “Benlloch España,” confirming its authenticity as a product of this historic workshop.

The base is paired with a custom hexagonal Dupion silk lampshade in tones of orange, peach, and gold, echoing the warm palette of the glaze. Finished with a Houlès passementerie trim, the shade casts a golden, atmospheric glow that enhances the lamp’s sculptural form and artisanal character. This piece has an attribution mark,
