Created in the 1940s by andré mounique for jumo, bagnolet, paris, the lamp features a conical chromed metal base with a cast iron counterweight, an adjustable chrome rod with a round balancing weight, and a half-round chrome lampshade. The socket is in original black bakelite (b22).

the first version of the 600, designed in 1940 has a bullet shaped counterweight. This later versions introduced a rectangular counterweight, while related models 602 and 605 feature longer rods.
