Description
White acrylic cylindrical shade with circular heat vent fixed to a solid oak stem and base. The shade sits on a ceramic bulb socket; a press switch is centred on the base. A cast-iron weight beneath ensures stability and retains the original Luxus label. The cable is recessed neatly through the stem, giving a clean, minimal profile.

This version represents a later 1960s refinement of the model, with a straight stem and base-mounted switch—updates that distinguished it from earlier examples.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with light patina. Acrylic diffuser clean and intact; oak frame refreshed and oiled. Rewired and earthed with a new white cable; fully tested. Original Luxus label preserved under the base.

Attributed to Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden. Variants of Models 118 and 119 appear in 1960s Luxus catalogues, produced in oak and rosewood with minor design evolutions between versions. This piece has an attribution mark,
