Incredible large scale original artwork on masonite from Chicago neo-realism artist C. (Chuck) Walker. 1985 haunting grayscale tones create a female figure as the center subject. Common themes for Walker include figures with obscured or turned away faces. Signed by the artist on the front and back. Rough, solid wood frame with exposed nails on frame and masonite itself as is typical with Walker's work - please see photos and video. A Chicago Art Institute (1963-1973) and Saddleback College (1981) graduate, Waller's work can be found in the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Deep profile frame is sturdy and hang ready with only minor wear, touch ups commensurate with age. Painting is in original condition.
