Produced by Japanese manufacturer Tendo Mokko in the 1960s, this sideboard is made from solid teak and teak veneer with a warm, even grain. It opens with two teak side doors and two smoked glass sliding doors, revealing a modular interior space with adjustable shelves.
The structure rests on a tubular metal base, giving the piece a visual lightness and modernity that complement the natural richness of the wood. This combination of materials embodies the Japanese post-war aesthetic, characterized by precision craftsmanship and openness to Western modernist influences.
