Originally created as a ceramic vase, the piece has been transformed into a lamp by Amitābha Studio and paired with a bespoke trapezoid shade in Japanese cotton, patterned with calligraphy-style script and lined in gold.

The ceramic base embodies the energy of mid-20th-century modernism, with a stylized face design etched in sgraffito and painted in deep navy, terracotta, and ivory. Its angular lines and graphic contrasts recall Picasso’s Cubist experiments, while remaining rooted in the hand-crafted traditions of Galician pottery.
