Originally made as a tall botella or bottle vase, the ceramic base has been transformed by Amitābha Studio into a striking lamp paired with a bespoke cylindrical shade in navy Japanese cotton, patterned with calligraphic script and lined in gold.

The ceramic base is conceived as a stylized female figure: the elongated body suggests a torso, while a circular head-like motif at the neck completes the form. Subtle sgraffito incisions animate the surface, framing bold abstract patterns in terracotta, ivory, and deep navy. The design recalls Picasso’s Cubist experiments while remaining rooted in the artisanal traditions of Galician pottery.
