The lamp was likely produced in Mallorca by a workshop such as Gordiola or Lafiore, both renowned for their bold experimentation with layered glass and textured finishes during the 1960s–70s. These workshops drew inspiration from Murano’s rugiadoso and sommerso effects while developing a more brutalist, sculptural sensibility that set Mallorcan glass apart.
