Hand-knotted in wool, this 9x16 modern rug by Rug & Kilim is a new addition to the French Art Deco rug line. Its design is inspired by a 1920s Bruhns-esque pattern of rectilinear geometric patterns and cubist sensibilities.
On the Design:
As inspired by Cubist Art Deco style rugs of the 1920s European sensibility. Its design enjoys especially present red, black and beige/brown tones. Connoisseurs will admire a subtle refinement in the texture, detail, and adaptation of scale to this high-end quality. The result is immersive, and nearly indistinguishable from antique Art Deco rugs, but in an even more durable construction.
