"Fritz Thomas founded the Porzellanfabrik Thomas & Ens in Marktredwitz in 1904 in the German Franconian region. Already in 1908 the firm was taken over by Rosenthal. In 1960 the production in Marktredwitz was discontinued. The new plant at Kulm in Speichersdorf was opened as a replacement. It is still under the roof of the Rosenthal Group." (The Old Stuff)
