The marble ball is solid and heavy. It sets on a brass stand with three pillars connect with a brass braided rope. The ball and stand are in good vintage condition. The stand has a vintage brass patina. Together the stand and the marble orb weigh over 4 pounds. The stand and marble together are 6 inches tall with a width of about 4 inches. This is a nice accessory for your desk and would also look delightful on an end table.
