Original watercolor of a reddish barn in snow. A cloudy overcast day, with black cows in the corral of the barn. Painted by Thomas (Tom) B. Johnson who was a juried member and past president of the SWS (Southwest Watercolor Society) in Texas. He loved plein air work.
Mr. Johnson was quite the Renaissance man, with lovely southern charm and manners. He was also an architect, and one of his many projects was his family's MCM home in Dallas Tx. I will give details and address to buyer. One of his many hobbies besides being a watercolor artist, was sailing. He enjoyed taking his catamaran sailboat out on White Rock Lake in Dallas, with family and friends in tow.

Back of frame has some loose tape along one corner. Also, the matte looks to have a pencil mark. Mr. Johnson framed this himself, I have not opened up the back to see if this mark can be erased. less
