It is a "New Mexico True" painting. I used many layers of acrylic paint along with other mark making tools to create it, including various forms of colored pencil, pencils, and crayon. The layers from underneath peek out beneath the glazes giving it depth and visual texture. All of it was done on a. 24" square stretched canvas and comes ready to hang with the sides painted black.
