The design and pattern indicates it is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The patterns are extremely complex and intricate with very deep, clean, crisp cuts. The designs include long straight cuts, a wheat-type pattern, and multiple overlapping stars. The shaft has 8 vertical cuts or surfaces with 2 distinct horizontal cuts and beading. The base has a large star cut on the bottom. In the sunlight this piece sparkles with rainbow colors.
On the table, this crystal vase or decanter conveys a statement of fine taste! A work of art in crystal that will be enjoyed for years and worthy of handing down to future generations. I inherited the vase from my Mother who purchased it from an highly respected elderly woman. See less
