Artist Biography: William Zaner also known as Bill Zaner was born February, 1930. He was a Texas landscape artist who specialized in scenes like deserts, mountains, high plains and meadows. He moved to Texas to paint the subjects he was most interested in. He was quoted saying he would of never wanted to do anything other than paint for a living. Zaner died in November of 2015 at the age of 85.
