Exceptional earthenware floor or table lamp by Tilgmans Keramik, Sweden, artist-signed A.Z. and dated 1964. The tall tapered form features rare hand-painted fairy decoration with sgraffito technique at the base revealing geometric architectural motifs through contrasting slips. Fairy motifs are uncommon in Tilgmans production, making this a distinctive example from the studio.
Original pleated fabric shade. Professionally rewired, fully functional with E27 bulb socket, suitable for US use.
Condition: Ceramic base in excellent condition. Original shade in very good condition. Professionally rewired for safe modern use.
