This beautiful 3-footed crystal bowl was made in West Germany by the Annahutte Windischeschenbach company. It is brand new, never used, in its original box. Original sticker still in place.
Anna Hutte had widespread production and was most active between 1945 and 1990 in West Germany. Anna Hutte may have been a subsidiary or line of Nachtmann Bleikristall, a glass manufacturer founded in Bavaria in 1834. At some point, Anna Hutte moved its production to Czechoslovakia and, later, in 1987, to the United States. Today, Nachtmann is owned by Austrian crystal maker Riedel Glassworks.
Anna Hutte Bleikristall bowls with a frosted or hand-painted rose design were created in the vintage period of the company. Bleikristall in German means "lead crystal" and refers to the high-quality 24% lead content. The Primrose pattern was made in West Germany during the mid-20th century, likely the 1960s, and features a specific design of frosted rose petals. These bowls are considered vintage art glass, made from high-quality 24% lead crystal, and are often hand-blown or hand-cut.
