Centering a 6.80 carat oval cut amethyst, the piece is accented by two lustrous Tahitian pearls measuring 6.68–7.50 mm and surrounded by 53 old European cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.30 carats, graded G-H color and VS-SI clarity. Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum and hallmarked with both the French dog and eagle head, this 20.89 gram brooch measuring 2 by 1 3/4 inches embodies the elegance and sophistication of the Edwardian era.
