What an amazing piece of history! This lovely blue and white transferware bowling ball pitcher was made in the 1930s by Lamberton China. Made in the United States. It is a Centenary 1827-1927 Baltimore and Ohio railroad Scammel's designed ball pitcher. The two side panels show the Potomac Valley, the front panel depicts the Carrollton Viaduct 1827 and the back panel depicts a horse-drawn car in 1830. It measures 7 3/4" wide by 7 3/4" tall and holds 64 oz of liquid. It's also in excellent shape, no chips, cracks or crazing. Weighs 2lb, 13oz before shipping. This item must be insured for shipping.
Would be an amazing gift for railroad history buffs.
