This small wall mirror was handcrafted in France by the ceramic collective Les Argonautes during the 1960s. Known for their sculptural and often abstract approach to functional objects, Les Argonautes merged mid-century modern aesthetics with a distinctly artisanal, brutalist style.
The piece features a solid ceramic frame in natural terracotta tones with a textured, matte glaze and refined geometric proportions. At just 22 cm in height, it makes for a unique decorative accent — perfect for gallery walls, entryways, or intimate interior vignettes.
The mirror is backed with a rough-finished ceramic surface and the original cord for hanging, consistent with the studio's typical production methods.
