An elegant set of chairs from around 1900 – French Art Nouveau.
The curved lines, harmonious proportions, and floral ornamentation demonstrate the transition from Historicism to Art Nouveau. The chairs are of high quality and feature fine carving and veneer details. The greenish-olive upholstery is made of a finely ribbed velour fabric with a slight sheen.
Material: Solid walnut with partially veneered surfaces, inlays, velour. Dimensions in cm: H 47-104 / W 48 / D 43. Origin: France.
