I designed this display cabinet when I opened my store in Washington DC IN 2002. It was built by the notable craftsman of Old Town woodworkers in Warrington Virginia.
It's made in two pieces, so the top shelving unit comes apart from the bottom drawer unit. The wood is walnut with a dark finish that shows the grain without being too busy.
The vertical shelves pull out to create different size spaces. I used this cabinet to display pillows and blankets, but it could be used for books, photos, or a variety of collectables and accessories.
The top individual compartments with the dividers in are 22' x 22' D.
The six bottom drawer interior dimensions are 20' x 21" D.
The bottom drawer unit is 25.5" D.
The top shelving unit is 19.5" D.
