1. The lamp is in very good overall condition. The polished nickel body retains its beautiful luster and shine. To maintain its appearance, regularly polish the lamp with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and oils that may tarnish the surface. 2. There are a few minor defects resulting from typical use. Reference Photos #7–12 (left to right): A. Photo #7: There is a slight, barely noticeable S-curve bend running vertically in the stem of the lamp between the bulb sockets and the main body. B. Photos #8–9: Scuff marks are visible on the main body of the lamp. In Photo #8, a small cluster of scuff marks appears in the middle of the second tier. In Photo #9, a small, thin scuff mark is located just above the base of the lamp. C. Photos #10–11: The lamp base has several small tarnished dots, scuffs, and chips across its surface. Despite these, the shine remains brilliant. D. Photo #12: Approximately one-quarter of the felt bottom was separating from the lamp base. Adhesive was used to reattach the partially separated felt.
