Very good example of a late 18th or early 19th century American mahogany kneehole desk. Features eight drawers, one of which is "hidden", and a middle cabinet with shelf. Solid mahogany primary wood with pine secondary. Tight handcut dovetails and hand planed surfaces. Batwing bail pulls appear to be original. The desk sits atop an interesting form of bracket feet.
