A finely crafted Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware jardinière, dating to the early 20th century (c. 1902–1920). This wide, low form (shape no. 8355) is richly decorated in mottled cobalt and indigo glazes, contrasted with textured gilt-buff panels highlighted by applied white floral quatrefoils. The bold palette and tactile surface decoration reflect the transition between the late Victorian Arts & Crafts movement and the flowing forms of Art Nouveau.
The jardinière is impressed with the Royal Doulton England stamp (lion above circular mark), alongside the shape number and an incised decorator’s monogram “LP.” Its generous rounded form makes it a versatile statement piece for consoles, dining tables, or interior design projects.
