Coffee table produced by Vad Trevarefabrikk. Its large embossed copper top, decorated with relief scenes (chariots, warriors, processions) inspired by ancient art and often described as "neo-Egyptian," rests on a slender base with thin solid wood legs. The combination of warm-hued copper and dark wood, in a brutalist spirit, perfectly illustrates the Nordic design of the 60s and 70s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
