Imported from France. Early 1900s faux bamboo expanding coat rack. Extra large rack has thirteen pegs in two styles -- the top row has four attached vertical pegs with lollipop style knobs - more suitable for hats. The bottom two rows have nine turned pegs. Perfect in an entry or mudroom to catch coats, hats, and purses or as an unexpected towel holder in the bathroom.
The rack measures 23 x 12 x 8 when collapsed for storage or shipping. A midway expansion measures about 36 x 22 x 7.5 inches but can be varied depending on the space. Amazing naturally aged oak patina.
