Framed in UV museum glass, and professionally mounted, this set of 18 Vues D'optiques would be stunning as a collection. Each is different and yet they provide a fantastic visual array. Vues D'optiques are hand-painted prints 18th century. They were used to view as "postcards" from around Europe in a special viewer that made them look 3D. They are a mix of street scenes at castles and famous locations. They are so much fun to examine up close and yet they also provide a wonderful decorative coherence for a room, hall, etc.
Shown here are only some of the whole collection. All frames are within 12.5-15" tall and 18-21" wide. These are from Europe, individual countries, bought in England and France primarily.
