This is an elegant Italian 19th century giltwood console table with a richly carved base and a rectangular marble top. Retail/Antique Shop Estimate: $1,200 - $1,800
Notes:
Console tables of this form were designed to be placed against a wall, often beneath a mirror. The giltwood carving and marble top make this piece especially decorative, suitable for refined interiors. While wear to the gilding is present, it adds to the authentic antique character.
