French Louis XVI Provincial Sideboard – Painted Buffet / Enfilade
A charming French Louis XV–style painted buffet, crafted in oak and finished in a soft, timeworn patina that beautifully highlights its provincial character. The sideboard rests on four cabriole legs joined by a scalloped apron, enhancing its graceful silhouette.
The façade features seven drawers and two central cabinet doors, accented with their original vintage hardware. The entire buffet has a galbee form, offering a refined decorative touch. Behind the central doors, a customized interior reveals two additional pull-out drawers on wooden gliders—a practical and elegant solution for storing serveware, linens, or flatware.
