This vintage Shelley teacup, saucer and plate features Heather pattern on the elegant New Cambridge shape. Made in England in the 1950s, the cup holds approximately 5 ounces and measures 2-1/2" high by 3-1/4" rim diameter. The matching saucer is 5-3/4" in diameter and the plate is 8".
The design includes a white ground with landscape country scene, scalloped and gilded rims, and green on the handle.
Condition: There may be pinhead size glaze imperfections, which present as bumps or marks under the glaze, which is common on bone china of the period (see photos for examples), but overall this set is in good, clean condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
