The distinctive feature is Pomodoro's sculptural headboard, composed of decorated brass panels inserted into a nested structure. The structure is characterized by 65 cm-high brass columns, topped with knobs, and by the chrome-plated metal bedframe bands, details that distinguish this production from later ones.

The bed has been assembled but has never been used, thus remaining in exceptional condition, although some minor wear is present due to its age.

The materials used are brass, metal, and bronze. Bibliography on the production of Borsani & Pomodoro is on page 480 of the volume "Osvaldo Borsani. Architetto, Designer, Imprenditore" (Skira, Milan, 2018).

To facilitate assembly, the bed will arrive disassembled, and the individual pieces will be labeled individually.
