Brescian silver oil cruet, 1812/1872. The cruet's stem, with two bottle holders supported by three stylized leaves, rests on an oval terrace bordered by a perforated frame. Two snakes, forming the holder for the corks, twist around the column-shaped stem complete with a pedestal.
The cruet is in perfect condition and bears the spearhead mark (Brescia Assurance Office); the anvil indicating the second fineness for small works (800/000); and finally, the silversmith's initials in a round field with the emblem IHS with cross and the initials FC.
