This vintage Shelley teacup and saucer features Campanula pattern #13886 on the fluted Ludlow shape. Made in England in the 1950s, the cup holds approximately 5 ounces and measures 2-1/4" high by 3-3/8" rim diameter. The matching saucer is 5-5/8" in diameter.
The design includes a white ground with lavender blossoms and green foliage, fluted body, lavender on the rims and handle.
Condition: There may be pinhead size glaze imperfections, which present as bumps or marks under the glaze, which is common on bone china of the period, but overall this set is in good, clean condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Shelley teacups are highly collectible for their fine bone china quality, delicate designs, and unique shapes. The Ludlow shape, with its fluted sides and high handle, make this an easy-to-hold cup.
