Hand carved Verde green marble torso of an abstract nude female form on a Lucite base (not attached) and not showing in the primary image, so please look at the additional photos featuring the base. Because, the Lucite base is 2” thick and it really sets this torso off handsomely.
Plus, this sculpture is in the manner of the artist Noguchi and it is 7.25” high and with the Lucite base it measures 9.75” high. Yet, it is signed and by artist “F. Spencer” as it is signed and dated 1983 on the underside. And, there are all kinds of abstract female torsos for sale however, this torso is rather special because of the way it is carved and its patina.
This sculpture would make a nice addition wherever it is placed. It also looks handsome without the base, see such in the additional photos provided.
